CA Technologies wanted to raise awareness of its ARCserve data management application amongst IT professionals who were accustomed to seeing backup and recovery as being low priority.
HPS were aware that ARCserve revision15 represented a substantial shift in CA’s approach to data management, as it seamlessly integrated backup and recovery functionality. We adopted a challenging new approach that confronted the IT community's preconceptions by talking to them directly about the dangers of insufficient back-up and recovery capability.
Our launch campaign succeeded in raising the perceived value of CA backup and making ARCserve r15 the most successful revision ever with exceptional take up of the new product across the customer and partner base.
